The PMC-2208 is an 8-port managed industrial redundant fiber Ethernet switch designed for substations, industrial automation, factory networks, transportation systems and other applications requiring reliable Ethernet communications.

It supports two flexible port configurations: two 100BaseFX fiber ports with six 10/100BaseT Ethernet ports, or four 100BaseFX fiber ports with four 10/100BaseT Ethernet ports. An RS-232 DTE interface is also provided for local management and configuration.

The PMC-2208 features advanced SW-Ring technology, providing a redundant Ethernet ring with self-healing capability and a recovery time of less than 20 ms. This helps maintain network availability and minimize communication interruptions when a link or network device fails.

Its built-in web console enables convenient configuration and network management. The switch supports advanced managed Ethernet functions, including QoS, VLAN, port trunking, port mirroring, bandwidth management and alarm monitoring, allowing network traffic to be controlled, prioritized and diagnosed efficiently.

With a standard 19-inch rack-mount enclosure measuring 482 × 185 × 44.5 mm and LED status indicators, the PMC-2208 provides reliable performance for demanding industrial and commercial Ethernet networks.
