The PMC-TS1 is a high-accuracy GNSS time synchronization server designed for electric power systems, substations, industrial automation and other applications requiring precise and reliable time distribution.
It supports selectable GPS, Galileo and QZSS time sources and multi-constellation positioning, helping maintain accurate navigation and time synchronization in challenging environments. The device provides two IRIG-B DC Level Shift outputs with accuracy of less than 150 ns (1σ) and an optional GPS PPS output with the same level of accuracy.
The PMC-TS1 supports SNTPv2 over its 10/100Base-T Ethernet interface and can process up to 400 SNTP requests per second. It also includes one RS-485 port for serial communication and one Form C mechanical relay for power outage alarming.
A standard Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillator provides reliable holdover performance, maintaining an accuracy of approximately 55 μs after one hour under constant-temperature conditions. The PMC-TS1 is suitable for fault detection, sequence-of-events timestamping, data acquisition, protection systems and other power-system time synchronization applications.
