The PMC-350-C 3-Phase LoRaWAN DIN Energy Meter is designed for intelligent, distributed and wireless IoT-based energy management applications. Housed in a compact 72 × 70 × 95 mm enclosure, it supports DIN rail or optional panel mounting, making it suitable for electrical panels where installation space is limited.
The meter provides comprehensive true RMS measurements of phase and line voltage, phase current, calculated neutral current, active power, reactive power, apparent power, power factor and frequency. It also measures three-phase total and per-phase imported, exported, net and total active and reactive energy, total apparent energy and four-quadrant reactive energy.
The PMC-350-C supports multiple current input configurations, including conventional 5 A CT input, 40 mA Split-Core CTs, 40 mA Rogowski coils and 2 mA SCCTA sensors. The Split-Core CT and Rogowski coil options simplify installation and retrofit projects because the existing power cables do not need to be disconnected.
For power quality monitoring, the meter provides voltage and current THD, TOHD and TEHD, individual harmonics up to the 31st order, current TDD, K-factor, crest factor, voltage and current unbalance, phase-angle analysis and fundamental power measurements. It also supports present, predicted and maximum demand monitoring for current and total active, reactive and apparent power.
The integrated multi-tariff TOU function provides two programmable schedules. Each schedule supports 12 seasons, 20 daily profiles, 12 periods per profile, 90 holidays or alternate days and eight tariffs. Monthly energy logs, daily and monthly freeze records, maximum and minimum logs and five configurable data recorders provide detailed historical information for energy analysis and cost allocation.
The built-in SOE log stores up to 100 events with ±1 ms timestamp resolution, including configuration changes, setpoint operations, digital input status changes, output operations and temperature or residual-current alarms. Ten programmable setpoints allow voltage, current, power, THD and other electrical parameters to trigger alarms or digital outputs.
A standard optically isolated RS-485 port supports Modbus RTU communication at baud rates from 1,200 to 38,400 bps. Optional LoRaWAN Class A and Class C communication supports multiple regional frequency bands, including AS923, AU915, US915, EU868, KR920, IN865 and RU864. The LoRaWAN option enables selected measurements, energy records, demand data, harmonics, logs, I/O status and alarm information to be automatically transmitted to an IoT energy management platform.
Optional I/O configurations include four digital inputs with two mechanical relay outputs, four digital inputs with two solid-state energy pulse outputs, four PT100 RTD temperature inputs with one residual-current input, or two RTD inputs with one residual-current input and two pulse outputs. These options make the meter suitable for status monitoring, utility pulse counting, temperature monitoring, leakage-current monitoring, alarming and remote control.
