The PMC-352-C 3-Phase LoRa Wireless DIN Rail Energy Meter with Temperature Monitoring is a compact energy and condition monitoring device developed for intelligent, distributed and wireless power management systems. Its 36 × 65 × 90 mm DIN rail enclosure makes it suitable for space-limited distribution boards, switchgear panels, industrial equipment and commercial electrical installations.
The meter provides comprehensive three-phase true RMS measurements, including phase and line voltage, phase current, active power, reactive power, apparent power, power factor and frequency. It also measures imported, exported, net and total active and reactive energy, total apparent energy and device operating time.
Advanced power quality functions include voltage and current THD, TOHD and TEHD, individual harmonics up to the 31st order, voltage and current unbalance, phase-angle analysis, fundamental active power, displacement power factor and four-quadrant reactive energy. Present demand monitoring is available for phase current and total active, reactive and apparent power.
The PMC-352-C supports external Split-Core current transformers, simplifying installation and retrofit projects without requiring existing power cables to be disconnected. Available sensor configurations include a 2 mA input for a 5 A/2 mA Split-Core CT and a 40 mA input for 100 A, 200 A, 400 A, 800 A or 1600 A Split-Core CTs.
Four standard NTC temperature inputs support two-wire thermistor sensors with a measurement range of −20°C to +140°C. They can be used to monitor the temperature of busbars, cables, switchgear, electrical connections and industrial machines. Three digital inputs are also provided for equipment status monitoring or utility pulse counting.
The meter provides ten programmable setpoints with configurable thresholds and time delays. These setpoints can monitor voltage, current, power, THD and other electrical parameters. Its SOE log stores up to 16 time-stamped events with ±1 ms resolution, including configuration changes, setpoint operations and digital input status changes.
Built-in wiring diagnosis functions help detect voltage or current loss, frequency deviations, reverse power direction, possible incorrect CT polarity and incorrect voltage or current phase sequence. These functions simplify commissioning and troubleshooting in industrial power monitoring applications.
A standard optically isolated RS-485 port supports Modbus RTU communication at baud rates from 1,200 to 38,400 bps. Optional LoRa communication supports configurable frequencies from 860 to 935 MHz, covering multiple regional ISM bands. The meter can be integrated with CET PecStar iEMS, SCADA systems, building automation platforms and third-party energy management systems.
