The PMC-351 Smart DIN Energy Meter is a compact and high-performance power and energy monitoring device designed for low-voltage electrical systems. Equipped with an industrial-grade microprocessor and a sampling rate of 64 samples per cycle, it provides accurate true RMS measurement for up to two channels of single-phase or three-phase voltage, current, power and energy parameters.
The meter provides both standard one-second measurements and high-speed measurements with a refresh cycle of less than 100 ms. Its rapid power and current calculation enables energy storage systems to implement anti-reverse power flow control, with response times of approximately 50 ms via RS-485 and 100 ms via Wi-Fi.
In addition to basic electrical measurements, the PMC-351 supports demand monitoring, programmable setpoints, SOE event recording, wiring diagnosis, voltage and current unbalance analysis, K-factor, crest factor and individual harmonics up to the 31st order. It records up to 16 SOE events with ±1 ms timestamp resolution and provides ten user-programmable setpoints for alarm and monitoring applications.
The PMC-351 features a standard optically isolated RS-485 port with Modbus RTU. Optional communication configurations include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Ethernet, enabling integration with mobile applications, local web interfaces, energy management platforms, automation systems and SCADA systems. Its Split-Core CT design, press-fit terminals and 20 mm-wide DIN rail enclosure simplify installation in space-limited residential, commercial and industrial electrical panels.
Typical applications include balcony PV energy storage systems, residential PV energy storage systems, residential multi-inverter AC coupling systems, industrial and commercial power systems, and AC medium- and low-voltage distribution systems.
